Meet the Maker
Megan Baker is the founder and designer of Little Lady Harrowden. She is a military spouse, and a mom with a love for all things creative.
Little Lady Harrowden has had many names in the past. Lads & Lasses Handmade re-branded in 2017 from 3 Of a Kind Lads, which launched in 2015. The original name was a nod to her boys and began when she couldn’t find a wide variety of bow ties to dress them in for special occasions.
Lads + Lasses Handmade began only selling bow ties and quickly expanded to include boy clothing and pet accessories. We have heard you loud and clear, and you love our twirls! Thus a new decade, and a new name! Little Lady Harrowden.
** A little background on Little Lady Harrowden. My love for sewing has come from a very special lady in my life, my grandmother. In her younger days, she was a seamstress in England and in America when they emigrated. She worked at Harrods, before it became Harrods making tailored suits. There is a little village where our family is from and where my grandparents were married: Little Harrowden. The sewing machine picture is an old machine my grandmother gave to me a few years back and sits in my office while I work. A beautiful reminder of her. Thus, Little Lady Harrowden has emerged.
Megan is always working on improving patterns and coming up with new ideas to add to the shop.
In her free time, she enjoys relaxing by the pool and visiting family when she can. She is also a black belt in taekwondo! Fun fact: She has an addiction to office supplies.
